True peak siempre

Solo mide

Activar la licenciaActivating your license

Sin licencia, Calibre funciona completo. Al abrir la ventana sale un aviso que se puede cerrar a los pocos segundos, una vez por instancia. Para quitarlo pulsa DEMO en la barra inferior y escribe el correo de la compra y la serie que te llegó. No hace falta internet. Cada plugin tiene su propia serie: la de otro plugin no vale para Calibre.

Without a license Calibre is fully working. Opening its window shows a notice you can close after a few seconds, once per instance. To remove it click DEMO in the bottom bar and enter your purchase email and the serial you received. No internet needed. Each plugin has its own serial: another plugin's serial does not unlock Calibre.

Los tres modosThe three modes

Arriba eliges VU, PPM o LUFS. Cada modo tiene sus propios mandos en la barra de abajo y los recuerda aunque cambies a otro. Los tres miden todo el tiempo: la sonoridad integrada no se pierde al pasar por el VU.

At the top you pick VU, PPM or LUFS. Each mode has its own controls in the bottom bar and keeps them when you switch. All three measure all the time: the integrated loudness is not lost while you look at the VU.

En estéreo ves una esfera por canal con su TRUE PEAK debajo. Con una sola aguja (MONO o una pista mono) la esfera se ensancha y las lecturas van en su tapa.

In stereo you get one dial per channel with its TRUE PEAK below. With a single needle (MONO or a mono track) the dial widens and the readings sit on its lid.

VUVU

Cal: El nivel en dBFS (pico de un seno) que marca 0 VU, de −24 a −6. De serie −18 dBFS = 0 VU. Doble clic vuelve a −18.
Hold: Retención: OFF, 1, 2 o 3 s. Una aguja fantasma ámbar se queda en lo más alto y el número del true peak en su máximo. Con OFF no hay fantasma y el número se retiene 0,3 s.

Cal: The level in dBFS (peak of a sine) that reads 0 VU, from −24 to −6. Default −18 dBFS = 0 VU. Double-click returns to −18.
Hold: OFF, 1, 2 or 3 s. An amber ghost needle stays at the top and the true peak number at its maximum. With OFF there is no ghost and the number holds 0.3 s.
Stereo / Mono: STEREO: one needle per channel. MONO: a single one with (L + R) / 2.

Type: EBU (IIb, −12 a +12, TEST = 0, rojo sobre +9), BBC (IIa, marcas 1 a 7, 4 = alineación) o DIN (I, −50 a +5, alineación −9, más rápido).
Align: El nivel en dBFS (pico de un seno) que marca TEST, 4 o −9. Doble clic vuelve a −18.
Hold · Stereo / Mono: Como en el VU.

LUFSLUFS

Short-term: Aguja blanca: sonoridad de los últimos 3 s. Encendida de serie.
Momentary: Aguja ámbar: los últimos 400 ms.
Integrated: Aguja lila: desde el último RESET.
Reset: Pone a cero la sonoridad integrada y el true peak retenido.
Hold TP: Retención del número de true peak.

Short-term: White needle: loudness of the last 3 s. On by default.
Momentary: Amber needle: the last 400 ms.

Reset: Clears the integrated loudness and the held true peak.

La escala va sin signo, como un VU: de 40 a 20 y de 20 a 10 en tramos cortos, y de 10 a 0 con un número por dB, donde se trabaja. Los números de la tapa (short-term, integrado, momentáneo y true peak) salen siempre, aunque su aguja esté apagada.

The scale has no sign, like a VU: 40 to 20 and 20 to 10 in short stretches, and 10 to 0 with a number per dB, where you actually work. The numbers on the lid (short-term, integrated, momentary and true peak) are always shown, even with their needle off.

TemasThemes

The light aluminium theme. — El tema de aluminio claro.

Pulsa el emblema o el nombre para abrir Acerca de: ahí están la licencia y el tema, cristal negro (de serie) o aluminio claro. El tema se guarda para todas las instancias. ES / EN cambia el idioma.

Click the emblem or the name to open About: the license and the theme live there, black glass (default) or light aluminium. The theme is saved for every instance. ES / EN switches the language.

En la pista de REAPEROn the REAPER track

In REAPER: on the track (TCP) and in the mixer (MCP), one in LUFS (S) and one in true peak (TP). — En REAPER: en la pista (TCP) y en el mezclador (MCP), uno en LUFS (S) y otro en true peak (TP).

En REAPER, clic derecho sobre Calibre en la cadena de efectos → Show embedded UI in TCP (o MCP, el mezclador). Sale una esfera pequeña y un número: el true peak en VU y PPM, la sonoridad de corto plazo en LUFS. Si la pista tiene un solo Calibre, un clic en la vista lo abre.

In REAPER, right-click Calibre in the FX chain → Show embedded UI in TCP (or MCP, the mixer). You get a small dial and a number: true peak in VU and PPM, short-term loudness in LUFS. If the track has a single Calibre, clicking the view opens it.
